Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had lovely and clean rooms with very comfy beds, but the building site view wasn't pleasing. The service was a mix of suspicion and pleasant interactions. The location was convenient but had some sketchy routes nearby. The dining offered nice options but at an extra cost. The facilities were decent overall.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a bit tired and dated, with a musty smell, although we had comfortable double beds to ourselves. The tea-making amenities were lacking, and a half-eaten packet of biscuits was left in place of coffee and tea. On the bright side, the staff were friendly and helpful, especially during check-in and at breakfast. The location was convenient, within walking distance of popular spots, but the dining options were hit or miss. Despite some drawbacks, the overall experience was decent and the value for money was reasonable.
The hotel had excellent rooms and was very clean throughout, although there were some issues with the lack of a phone inside the room. The service was professional and attentive, though a friendlier attitude could enhance the overall experience. The location was superb, close to key attractions and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The dining experience offered great value for money with fresh and hot offerings. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor drawbacks.
After a two-hour train journey, I had to wait until 2:30 pm for my room, which was a bit annoying, but once inside, I found two comfortable double beds and a fridge stocked with water. The room was spacious with a great view across the city, although a slight update could enhance the experience, especially considering the very reasonable price.
The hotel has larger than average rooms with very comfortable beds, but it definitely needs a refurbishment. Despite the tired wardrobe unit and missing tea-making ingredients, my stay was clean and comfortable in a very convenient location.
The hotel is very conveniently located near various attractions and transportation links. The rooms, although not as spacious as expected, are comfortable with excellent beds. The service is top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to assist guests. The dining experience, while delicious, could be pricey for the offerings.
The hotel has a good central location in Birmingham, convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were initially cold and noisy, but were lovely and clean after being refreshed on the second night. The service was generally friendly and accommodating with a couple of minor issues. The location was great for accessing the city center and nearby attractions. The dining options varied with some limitations. Overall, a decent stay with a few drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were pristine and spacious, just as I expected, although starting to show some signs of wear and tear. The service, led by Dom, was helpful and polite, with nice touches like pillow spray and quality toiletries, even though changing the room to a twin was a challenge. The location was ideal, close to the city center and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The dining experience was amazing, with a variety of options. The facilities, including the ice skating rink and Brindley place, were top-notch.
The hotel room was a great size, with very comfortable double double beds providing plenty of room to move around. However, it was really cold, and I couldn't turn up the heating, which was a slight downside.
